  • Material savings in the production phase and energy efficiency in the use phase are amongst the most important objectives in sustainable building design. Facades account for a large share of the energy loss in a building. 
  • Adhesives and sealants are critical for the design options and the technical performance of facades and, in particular, of structural glazing elements. 
  • New high performance adhesive solutions allow slimmer connections and profile sections. This results in significant material savings (silicone adhesives and aluminium) and reduces energy use and CO2 emissions.
