With the support of national associations across Europe and several direct and affiliated members, FEICA coordinates, represents and advocates the common interests of our industry throughout Europe. FEICA represents the industry at a European level and works with all relevant stakeholders to create a mutually beneficial economic and legislative environment.
For our offices in Brussels, we are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager, full-time or 4/5, permanent, that will report to the Director Public & Regulatory Affairs.
Job profile
The Regulatory Affairs Manager will lead the association’s regulatory and public affairs engagement in the construction sector. This includes, ensuring compliance with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), and following the development of secondary legislation including driving the alignment on standardisation priorities.
Furthermore, it includes the update of the FEICA model Environmental Product Declarations (model EPDs and preparation for Digital Product Passports in Construction).
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate the activities of the Working Group on Construction and One- Component Foam (OCF), ensuring effective collaboration among members.

Monitor and influence developments in European and international standardisation relevant to construction products and OCF.

Represent the association in technical committees and stakeholder forums related to CPR and standardisation.

Lead the update of the FEICA model EPDs for construction products, in line with EN 15804 and related frameworks.

Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance, particularly with CPR and related sustainability legislation.

Draft position papers, technical guidance, and consultation responses in collaboration with members and external experts.

Liaise with other working groups and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment of technical and regulatory positions.
Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, standardisation, or technical project management within an association or the construction sector.

Advanced degree such as in law, engineering, environmental science, construction, international relations or a related field.

Knowledge of CPR, standardisation processes (CEN, ISO), and EPD methodologies is an asset.

Experience working in or with trade associations, industry consortia, or regulatory bodies is an asset.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and drafting skills in English.
