FEICA, the Association of the European Adhesive and Sealant Industry, is the multinational association for the adhesive and sealant industry in Europe. With the support of national associations across Europe and several direct and affiliated members, FEICA coordinates, represents and advocates the common interests of our industry throughout Europe. FEICA represents the industry at a European level and works with all relevant stakeholders to create a mutually beneficial economic and legislative environment.
For our offices in Brussels, we are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager – Sustainability (m/f/x), full-time or 4/5, permanent, that will report to Director Public & Regulatory Affairs.
Purpose of the Role
The Manager will lead the association’s regulatory and public affairs work related to electronics, mobility, and broader sustainability issues. This includes monitoring and influencing EU regulatory initiatives such as the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), with a particular focus on digital product passports (DPPs), reparability, and recycling of bonded articles across sectors (e.g. electronics, vehicles, and other complex products). The role supports members in navigating evolving sustainability frameworks and contributes to the association’s strategic positioning on circular economy and product policy.
Key Responsibilities

Policy Monitoring & Advocacy
Monitor EU regulatory developments relevant to electronics, mobility, and sustainability (e.g. ESPR, Circular Economy Action Plan, CEA plan, DPPs, ELV Directive, Battery Regulation and others).
Draft position papers, consultation responses, and advocacy strategies in coordination with members and aligned associations. -
Working Group Coordination
Coordinate relevant working groups, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge exchange among members.
Prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions. -
Stakeholder Engagement
Represent the association in EU stakeholder forums, expert groups, and industry alliances.
Build and maintain relationships with EU institutions, NGOs, and peer associations. -
Sustainability & Circular Economy
Support members on sustainability-related topics, including digital product passports, reparability, and recyclability of bonded articles.
Contribute to the development and promotion of sector-specific sustainability tools and guidance. -
Communication & Outreach
Draft technical and policy briefings, newsletters, and updates for internal and external audiences.
Support the communications team in raising visibility of the association’s sustainability work.
Profile Requirements

University degree in environmental sciences, engineering, law, or political science.

At least 3–5 years of experience in EU regulatory affairs, preferably in electronics, mobility, or sustainability-related sectors.

Strong understanding of EU policymaking and sustainability frameworks.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Fluency in English; other EU languages are an asset.
