  • A new REACH restriction on diisocyanates establishing information, labelling and training requirements was adopted

  • As of 24 February 2022, all diisocyanates containing products intended to be used in industrial or professional settings with a total monomeric diisocyanate concentration greater than 0.1 % shall be labelled as established in the restriction

  • As of 24 February 2022, suppliers should provide end users with information about the training on the safe use of diisocyanates

  • FEICA is making available a series of informative materials/tools to support the adhesives and sealants industry to convey the information to its end users

  • As of 24 August 2023, all industrial or professional user(s) OR supervisors of tasks involving diisocyanates, should have successfully completed training on the safe use of diisocyanates prior to the use of the substance(s) or mixture(s)

  • The industry is working together to develop the content of the training on the safe use of diisocyanates
