Task Force Polymers
Polymers are currently exempted from REACH registration. However, Article 138(2) of REACH provides for a review of the ‘risks posed’ by polymers, with a view to identifying those that evoke concern equivalent to that for other substances. The Polymers Task Force was created to participate in the discussions for future amendments to the legal text/annex in order to get exemptions for polymer groups based on sound scientific principles.

Task Force REACH
The REACH Task Force (TF) deals with the actions related to the revision of REACH and CLP. This TF drafts FEICA positions and public consultation responses, actively participates in stakeholders’ workshops and industry groups and advocates for the sector’s interests.

Task Force SPM Restriction

Task Force Supply Chain Communication
The Mixture Assessment Factor (MAF) concept was presented as a potential issue arising from the CSS. Because of the complexity linked to regulating an almost infinite number of possible combinations of chemicals, the Supply Chain Communication (TF) was created to raise awareness of the impact that the implementation of an MAF on REACH would have on the A&S industry. It also covers the implementation of FEICA use maps.
