FEICA Benefit Story – Moving more with less CO2
The motor car has been with us for more than 120 years and today it is hard to imagine life without the motor car. It has transformed our way of life, our landscape, and our outlook. Worldwide it has provided mobility, pleasure and economic opportunity to millions of people, but its widespread use has damaged the environment. Now the big question is how sustainable is the motor car, and the way we use it?
The use of adhesives and sealants in many sectors including construction, automotive, and energy production, contribute to reducing the carbon footprint of a surprising number of everyday and advanced products and manufacturing processes creating a “new licence to do business in the 21st century”.
A sustainable industry is a forward-looking industry, conscious of its responsibility and with a long-term perspective. This is the Adhesives and Sealants Industry – contributing to create a better future for society!

Overview of changes in FEICA SpERCs
In order to reflect improvement, the factsheets have been revised by the sector organisations, generally by reformatting and adding more detailed background information to enable its transparent application. Furthermore the SpERCs have been simplified. While the previous SpERCs still remain valid, the new revised SpERCs have assigned new version numbers (v2) to discriminate between the different assumptions made in both, the previous and the revised version.
