FEICA, the Association of the European Adhesive and Sealant Industry, is the multinational association for the adhesive and sealant industry in Europe. With the support of national associations across Europe and several direct and affiliated members, FEICA coordinates, represents and advocates the common interests of our industry throughout Europe. FEICA represents the industry at a European level and works with all relevant stakeholders to create a mutually beneficial economic and legislative environment.

For our offices in Brussels, we are looking for a Regulatory & Communications Assistant (m/f/x), full-time.

Job profile      

The assistant performs a wide range of mainly regulatory and communication tasks for the FEICA Secretariat and its members. He/she frequently communicates with internal and external stakeholders and is regularly exposed to confidential data. The ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of European Trade Associations, and a high level of integrity considering the complex nature of information. The assistant works independently with only general guidance on a variety of projects. He/she cooperates closely with the regulatory affairs and communications teams and reports to the Secretary General.

Responsibilities           

  • Provide support to the FEICA Secretariat: the Secretary General, the Regulatory team, and the Communications team
  • Organise meetings, virtual meetings/conference calls and appointments,
  • Organise, assist and implement workshops, webinars or events
  • Prepare meetings dossiers
  • Manage task forces on specific topics
  • Prepare presentations and graphics, help with data management
  • Maintain Extranet/SharePoint (web platform) with up-to-date information and facilitate members’ contribution to exchange relevant information
  • Keep the membership and stakeholder database (CRM) up to date
  • Handle or initiate replies to members’ requests and queries, including questions received at info@feica.eu
  • Prepare regular reports, including gathering, summarising and analysing data
  • File documents and information according to FEICA internal procedures.

Experience & competences

  • Holder of a bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of work experience, preferably as assistant at management level or similar
  • Experience as an assistant at a European association or similar is considered an asset
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent level of English, written and spoken (C2)
  • Proficiency in IT, web management and social media skills,
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and interested to learn new tools.
  • Understanding FEICA membership and its industry.
