The course provides a fundamental understanding of the gluing technology. After successful completion of this course, the participants are able to carry out independent gluing work, as a true professional, in a technically responsible manner.

The course provides a fundamental understanding of the materials science, bonding properties of substrates, curing mechanisms and processing properties, surface treatment, connection technology, quality management, test methods and aging.

After this course, the participants will be able to give instructions to implementers of adhesive joints, prepare work instructions, contribute to quality assurance of the bonding process, provide planning, organisation and control of adhesive work.

The course gives participants an understanding of the technical aspects and importance of the work procedures and therefore allows them to carry out bonding work independently and effectively. 

This course allows former participants of international European Adhesive Specialist (EAS) and European Adhesive Engineer (EAE) courses to refresh their knowledge of adhesive bonding and learn about the latest developments.

The EWF-European Adhesive Engineer (EAE) course trains employees to supervise the whole spectrum of bonding work from product development to production and repair activities.

The course qualifies practical users of adhesive technology to create bonds independently and professionally.

The participants will become trained for using adhesive bonding technology in industrial production, for product development and supervision of bonding personnel.

This course aims to provide its trainees with the knowledge and the decision-making tools to face new challenges arising from current market demands, while remaining oriented towards a circular economy and keeping aware of environmental needs. The course is also applicable to consultants.
