The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the microstructure and properties of materials with particular reference to materials used in construction.

During this course you will practice the sealing of a bathroom or the floor, or the pavement around petrolstations.

During this course you get an introduction in the fibre reinforced plastics and how to bond it.

The participants will become trained for using adhesive bonding technology in industrial production, for product development and supervision of bonding personnel.

With this training, the attendees will get an understanding of the different relationships of adhesive technology compared to conventional joining techniques and thus they will be able to avoid errors in production.

The course provides a fundamental understanding of the gluing technology. After successful completion of this course, the participants are able to carry out independent gluing work, as a true professional, in a technically responsible manner.

At the end of this training, trainees will be able to understand the multitude of adhesion and adhesives related processes, theories, benefits, limitations and restrictions, propose surface treatments and recognise relevant health and safety hazards.
