The research on this subject is driven through a material-by-design approach relying on the formulation of a set of requirements in terms of performances and constraints, based on which the best material solution is sought.

Appréhender une problématique de collage, rédiger des méthodes spécifiques de collage, définir, déployer et faire appliquer un procédé imposé de collage et sensibiliser des opérateurs aux règles fondamentales de la technologie de collage. 

Etre capable de sélectionner un adhésif et un traitement de surface en fonction d’un cahier des charges et maîtriser la mise en œuvre des collages en fonction des assemblages par collage. 

Connaître les moyens de caractérisation des matériaux plastiques, composites et assemblages collés. Connaître notamment les différents essais mécaniques pouvant être réalisés. Savoir interpréter les résultats des essais.

After the course, the participants will be able to professionally handle adhesive bonding tasks as per specification and will have a deep understanding of the differences between adhesive bonding and conventional bonding methods.

With this training, the attendees will get an understanding of the different relationships of adhesive technology compared to conventional joining techniques and thus they will be able to avoid errors in production.

Attendees will receive first-hand information about the contents of the DIN 6701 standard and the measures that their manufacturer must take.

The adhesive engineer will obtain key competences and responsibilities for all adhesive bonding processes. From progressive product development, selection of corresponding adhesive and production planning to bond construction and quality assurance.

The aim of the seminar is to provide participants with information on surface treatments, types of surfaces and surface layers, both in theory and practice.
